Dr Abigail Brough
DVM
Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine
Abigail completed her DVM at the University of Adelaide in 2014 and then went on to undertake two rotating internships, before starting her internal medicine residency training in Melbourne, Victoria.
Abigail became a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists by examination in 2024. She loves the challenge of the problem-solving nature of internal medicine, but has a particular interest in gastrointestinal disease and understanding of the gut microbiome, as well as diagnosis and management of infectious and immune mediated diseases.
Abigail loves teaching and has experience with training and mentoring interns and residents, as well as being an official clinical assessor for the final year DVM students for Melbourne University over the past 2 years.
Outside of the vet clinic, Abigail has a passion for running marathons, cooking and enjoying great food, and live music.
